Business Analyst. ( NO 3rd PARTY COMPANIES PLEASE; NO C2C )



Seeking a Business Analyst to work with a leading Financial Services company in the Charlotte, NC area. The Business Analyst will collect and analyze data for potential business expansion, identify business opportunities, influence stakeholders to support business projects. The BA will also lead projects and coordinate with other teams to produce better business outcomes, testing business processes and recommending process improvements.


  • Facilitate daily stand-ups and sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and other Scrum rituals across all teams
  • Track progress using sprint burn-down charts and project burn-down charts to ensure teams remain on track with their goals.
  • Schedule and lead Scrum rituals, ensuring teams are focused on deliverables and resolving blockers.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines align with business objectives.

Skills/requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
  • Advanced certifications or coursework in business analysis or project management (Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP); PMI-PBA) are highly desired
  • Certification in Agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM); Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong focus on requirements gathering, process analysis and documentation in a technical environment
  • Proven experience in working closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into actionable requirements for development teams
  • Ability to define business processes, document user stories, and create detailed functional specifications to ensure the development teams understand the product goals.
  • Experience working with Agile environments and ability to help facilitate Agile ceremonies (such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives)
  • Experience in backlog management and working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms to track progress and manage project tasks
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity of requirements, prioritization and timely delivery of features.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement efforts for business processes and ensuring that product development aligns with the organizations goals.
