Overview:
The Digital Health team provides digitally enabled products and services that drive core business services to grow patient access, create new revenue streams, and increase market share, enabling patients to receive healthcare at Novant Health in the most remarkable way possible. Digital Health operates in a centralized, standardized, and unified approach to internal & external partners in a system approach. The Digital Health Operations Manager will be directly responsible for overseeing the Acute hospital based telehealth programs, which includes: TeleNeurology, TeleICU, Telepsych, Virtual Nursing, Hospital at Home, and other programs in various stages of implementation. The Digital Health Operations Manager will be accountable for driving standardization of technology and processes, maintaining relationships across internal and external systems and continuously improving and growing the acute telehealth service offerings.
This role requires the candidate to be within the Winston or Charlotte, NC markets and requires 25-50% travel.

Qualifications:
Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required. Masters Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare operations or digital health.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Strong experience in managing digital health, telehealth, and virtual care programs and operations.
Excellent organizational, project management, and process improvement skills.
Proficiency in performance monitoring and reporting, including data analysis and dashboard design.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and independently prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to synthesize data and convey key messages in a visually appealing and impactful way
Experience in assessing current state, preparing recommendations to optimize and execute
Experience with conduct root cause analysis and executing actions plans to remediate
Ability to create and maintain complex roadmaps to outline system wide vision
Experienced in designing proposals and socializing for executive and clients buy in.
Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): Experience in integrating new technologies and managing technology vendors.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry standards related to digital health.
Track record of successful program management and operational optimization.

Essential Functions
Operational Management:
• Establish infrastructure to oversee the day-to-day operations of digital health programs, including remote monitoring, telehealth services, and digital health tools.
• Ensure that digital health initiatives are running smoothly and efficiently, addressing any operational issues as they arise.
Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of digital health services.
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of digital health programs.
Program Coordination:
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, IT, and project managers, to ensure successful execution and integration of digital health programs.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to resolve any operational challenges and align on program objectives.
Performance Monitoring:
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital health programs.
• Generate regular reports and analyses to provide insights into program performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Training and Support:
• Develop and deliver training programs for staff involved in digital health operations to ensure they are knowledgeable and effective in using digital tools and technologies.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members to address any questions or issues related to digital health operations.
Technology Integration:
• Oversee the integration of new digital health tools and technologies into existing systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with IT and vendor teams to ensure successful implementation and troubleshooting of digital health solutions.
Issue Management:
• Act as point of contact for issues reported, establish protocols to identify the root cause and remediation.
• Establish mechanism to identify issue trends and patterns to determine approach to optimize.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engage with internal stakeholders, including management and clinical teams, to gather feedback and address any concerns related to digital health operations.
• Maintain positive relationships with external partners and vendors to support the successful delivery of digital health services.
