Summary: The Junior Product Analyst is responsible for assisting product evaluation, design, development implementation, testing, and oversight. In addition, this position will collaborate with other team members in development, testing, and implementation of new Hendrick Autoguard products. This position will assist in evaluating product offerings, developing insights to optimize product features, and working with cross-functional teams to improve the overall performance of F&I Products. Provide support and maintenance of both GEARS and the Tableau Application as it relates to product development.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. However, due to the scope of responsibilities the position may direct the work of others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Support Annual product pricing review, which is a comprehensive product performance review (loss ratio's, penetration, etc.)
  • Produces Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Monitors competitive environment to identify new opportunities for Hendrick Autoguard products.
  • Research market trends to analyze competitiveness of products offered.
  • Configure, test, and monitor the GEARS system for various product programs.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including training material, product evaluations, product reference guides, etc.
  • Performs competitive pricing analysis against other TPA's and Manufacturers programs.
  • Conducts studies to analyze future and emerging products and prepares recommendations for action.
  • Leads team members in the design, development and implementation of new Hendrick Autoguard products.
  • Ensures that products are developed and marketed in accordance with Hendrick Brand Standards.
  • Support forms development, licensing, and other relevant compliance processes.
  • Prepares implementation kits for new or modified product offerings.
  • Coordinates annual program changes with vendor partners and prepares internal and external communications.
  • Collaborates with vendors and management team on the development of Point of Sale materials.
  • Supports Tableau Application design, development, and end user reporting.

Computer Skills:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management or Hyperion Enterprise is required. Must have experience with VBA Script.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with company personnel.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled hours may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays to meet required deadlines.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Environment Demands:

Duties are performed primarily an office environment in the management office. Position requires frequent interaction with Management Office employees.

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Math Ability:

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and reports.
