Title: Project Manager - App Dev

Location: Charlotte, NC

Compensation: 110k to 130k

Type: Direct

Position Overview

Our company is seeking a skilled Application Development Project Manager to oversee a variety of software development projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent management skills, and a history of successful software project deliveries. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage resources, schedules, and milestones effectively to meet our business goals.

Responsibilities:

Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget estimates, and risk management.

Responsible for delivering a variety of development and implementation projects: ERP implementation, CI/CD implementation, and application development projects.

Lead and motivate a diverse team of developers, designers, and consultants.

Assign responsibilities and monitor project team performance to ensure adherence to project scope and timelines.

Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders and clients, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Implement quality control processes to ensure the final product meets initial design and operational requirements.

Identify and manage project risks and issues and develop contingency plans.

Perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.

Continually improve project management processes and methodologies.

Evaluate project outcomes to identify best practices and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

PMP is required.

Strong technical background with hands-on experience with the software development methodology Waterfall.

Nice to Have:Experience delivering ERP, CI/CD and application development projects.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
