Job description

Duties You will trouble shoot repairs, modify, and test a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and air conditioning support units. You will disassemble various systems and components of GSE and replace or repair necessary parts such as bearings, ignition units, magnate units, steering systems and similar assemblies. You will provide mechanical and automative electrical repairs for all types of GSE. You will perform inspections and proof-load testing of aircraft restraining deceives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. (1) diagnosing malfunctions on the most complex powered support systems to determine the depth of rework or repair required and identifying applicable material requirements; (2) troubleshooting and repairing complex problems on powered support systems such as air conditioning systems, compressed air systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems. (3) analyzing power equipment to determine necessary depth of repair.
