Job description

Duties You will analyze and interpret data including Naval supply programs and supply databases. You will determine the achieved supportability characteristics and evaluate achieved verses required/ desired/ planned characteristics. You will plan, distribute, coordinate, monitor workload assignments, evaluate performance, and provide valuable feedback while teaching and developing staff. You will evaluate integrated logistics support plans of logistics elements throughout the aircraft support equipment system's life cycle. You will brief management and sponsors on status of systems logistics related information. You will prepare written justification to recommend funds for improvement of logistics operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field L Level 1. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: SPECIALIZED. Examples of Applying supply support concepts and theories to ensure adequate supply and to forecast parts usage and future demand; 2) Provisioning and supplying file maintenance processes in order to follow code changes; 3) Understanding logistics management policies and processes to utilize technical directives and understanding of configuration; 4) Ensuring technical manuals are current through review in order to update processes; 5) Managing logistics workload and plan of work of subordinates in order to provide support in both technical and administrative aspects; 6) Creating and analyzing reports in Maintenance Tasks Analysis, Maintenance Plans, Provisioning Requirements and Provisioning Parts List Index.
