Overview:
ALO l Avance Care is in the business of improving the standard of healthcare. As one of the largest networks of independent primary care practices in North Carolina, we provide comprehensive care for our patient's physical, mental, and emotional health.

We are currently hiring a highly technical and detail-oriented Accounting Manager team member to help us continue to grow our accounting department as an independent contributor.

Ensure the company remains compliant with all accounting standards and regulations.

Support consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP guidelines.

Develop and implement new processes supporting corporate entities formerly executed by a third-party accounting team.

Lead and/or assist with the implementation, onboarding, and setup of new entities via M&A opportunities.

Enhance invoicing and reporting for Alo Clinically Integrated Network.

Selected Responsibilities:

Lead the research, documentation, and implementation of new accounting standards and complex accounting topics, ensuring company-wide compliance.

Evaluate the accounting and financial reporting implications of significant transactions, including M&As, new service offerings, and enterprise-wide contracts.

Routine maintenance of corporate general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and trial balances - including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flows

Manage AP and Expense Management process for Alo, Alo CIN, and Alo Medical Group

Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, RCM, tax, external auditors, operations, and IT to ensure seamless financial operations.

Target candidates should bring 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a technical accounting role and a Bachelor's degree in a related field and CPA/CMA and/or Master's degree are strongly preferred.

Other Priorities:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel skills

Results-oriented and thrives in a deadline-driven environment, preferably PE-backed organizations

Strong analytical skills and financial analysis skills

Experience in NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and PowerBI preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize

Keen attention to detail
