Why Should You Be Interested ? •Direct hire full-time position •Competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits •Mid-size company with room for growth Position Title : Systems Security Lead Position Location : Full Time, onsite in Durham, NC Daily Responsibilities : •Manage day-to-day information security tasks by monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats. •Prepare a System Security Plan •Ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST security guidelines, and other OMB mandates. Required Years of Experience (min) : •Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing information security systems and applications and recommending and developing security measures to protect information against unauthorized modification or loss Required Degree : •B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering or Four years of related experience may be substituted for the education degree requirement established for this key personnel function. •Certified Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (CISSP) or equivalent. •ITIL certifications specific to the position are preferred Required Experience : •Understanding of, and experience in applying, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications (800 series) on Computer Security. •Experience in vulnerability analysis, security evaluation and testing, certification and accreditation, and incident reporting and remediation. •Experience leading application and system security initiatives and providing technical expertise in designing secure public-facing and internal-facing services and APIs. •Experiencing authoring, editing, and maintaining design documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configuration documentation. Required Clearance : •Public Trust at time of award. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: TBD Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
