RTI's Operations Finance team is seeking a Pricing Manager / Finance Manager. This role will be responsible for leading a team of Pricing Analysts who partner closely with proposal teams and research staff to develop winning pricing strategies in response to solicitations for contracts and grants, while assessing risk and proactively recommending mitigation strategies. The primary role of the Pricing Team is competitive budget development and preparation of business proposals for Federal clients in addition to other domestic, international, and commercial organizations.

This role requires the ability to manage teams, collaborate with other Pricing and cross-functional leadership, and drive process improvements across the institute. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Pricing in the Operations Finance group.

Responsibilities:
Lead a high performing team that fosters knowledge sharing and continued growth of multiple direct reports through:Promoting accountability, autonomy, and pricing acumen - empowering staff to make decisions, provide proactive data analysis, and offer creative solutions to complex problems

Cultivating a culture of belonging and inclusivity

Ongoing individual goal development, feedback and training opportunities to build financial and business capabilities

Effective recruitment, onboarding and retention

Maintain and enhance pre-award pricing and risk mitigation activities

Identify and implement process improvements and industry best practices

Lead and/or participate in special projects including implementation of new pricing policies, procedures, and systems to improve or enhance budgeting, risk assessment, and operating efficiencies

Build collaborative relationships across teams and functions

Independently lead proposal pricing activities up to 30% time, as needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of related experience (or Master's +6)

Knowledge of US Government contracting and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

Federal Pricing experience and relevant management experience strongly preferred.

$119,000 - $147,000
