Job description

Overview:
Job Purpose: To drive results within assigned region through collaboration, leadership, establishing action plans to maximize the region's clinical care and growth potential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for performance of clinics within region in achieving and maintaining clinical practice excellence and outcomes, business targets, and customer service expectations, adherence to protocols and practice guidelines, and compliance within locations to Avance Care standards.

Lead and focus on total team development and engagement, from managerial to direct clinical roles.

Proactively monitors, creates strategies and plans, and ensures timeline implementation of action plans to maintain performance (Quality, Compliance, business metrics, and customer support).

Continually evaluates effectiveness of operational programs and protocols and identifies opportunities for system, operational, and process improvement within these areas.

Lead effective professional bi-directional team, matrix, leadership, and practice communications. Reinforce messaging to support organizational priorities and initiatives. Consistently model Avance culture and value in interactions with locations and team.

Accountable for ensuring locations are adhering to best practice in professional standards, performance metrics, and customer services that is aligned with organizational standards and values.

Participate in development of strategies and assess outcomes that are consistent with continuous process improvement. Skilled in executing PDSAs and other approaches to ensure consistent success.

Demonstrates fiscal responsibility to ensure cost containment to financial targets and budgetary needs.

Works in partnership with Senior Leadership, partners within regional pod, and other operational leaders to identify and implement growth initiatives and operational improvements.

Ensure utilization (both individually and within locations) of appropriate business tools, systems, business dashboards, etc. in accordance with organizational goals.

Provide visionary thinking and guidance to locations within region.

Critically analyze regional issues after reviewing data available. Proactively address these issues, or escalate as appropriate.

Utilize change theory to plan and implement organizational priorities within region.

Create an environment that facilitates the team to implement actions that will produce sustained results.

Qualifications:

Experience, Education and Licensure:

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience required

5+ years demonstrated progressive operational leadership experience in a healthcare setting

Clinical experience or certification (MA, CNA, etc.) preferred

Ability to communicate well in writing and in person. Ability to read and interpret common medical, billing, and business terminology

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, type, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The duties of this job require availability to work Monday through Friday, eight hours a day, as well as possible weekend work when needed. Thisposition will require the staff member to travel to multiple Avance Care locations. This position may require some travel and overnight stays.
