The Role
Do you want to make a difference and be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to enabling Fidelity s investment operations business through the propagation of Fidelity s Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO s) data strategy across multiple domains and product areas within the FFIO business unit?
FFIO s services include calculating and distributing NAVs, distribution rates and yields for a wide variety of investment products, preparing fund financial statements, dividend estimates and tax returns, monitoring delivery of fund trades to custodian banks, processing corporate actions, collecting securities income on behalf of the funds, reconciling, reporting and moving money in support of fund shareholder transactions, and managing fund liquidity.
Consolidated Data Services (CDS) is seeking a Technical Program Manager who will be the primary contact for driving successful execution of various programs across FFIO. These programs span across Product Areas, Chapter Areas, Teams and often Business Units. You will decide priorities within the program, mitigate dependencies and ensure effective delivery of project goals, and align the project narrative to the business outcomes being achieved.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor s degree in management information systems, computer science, or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience working in an Agile delivery environment
- Demonstrated expertise delivering complex technology solutions and achieving results
- Understand effective software delivery approaches including DevOps
- Collaborate with impacted products and applications to document project scope, key dates, outcomes and measures of those outcomes
- Set and create a plan taking into account scope, budget, skills, quality, resiliency, open communication and project findings
- Presenting project plans, track the progress of project with team members, assessing and taking proper action to account for risk and lead meetings between teams
- Continually updating executive management on project status, accomplishments, timelines and risks
- Take a data-focused approach to decision making, in day-to-day leadership and strategic tradeoffs
- Eagerness to learn a new domain
- Strong working knowledge of software development and possess a deep understanding of the software life cycle stages
- Proven experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams
- Java, AWS, Oracle experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge to design, develop and support stable and resilient technology solutions
- Striving for continuous improvement and empower team members to do the same

CDS is dynamic team and both a foundational and strategic asset for FFIO, deploying capabilities across FFIO and Asset Management businesses and core to our transformation to a data-driven digital company. CDS enables Fidelity s goal of creating relevant and valuable data assets for reuse and increasing data liquidity. We do this by setting greater goals regarding data, aiming to enhance data monetization outcomes by pervasively improving processes to do things better, cheaper, and faster, and wrapping products and services with analytics features and experiences.
