ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is searching for a Senior Project Manager to support USSOCOM out of Ft. Liberty, NC. POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Project Manager position will be based out of Fort Liberty, NC. We are looking for applicants who want to be a member of the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) Team . The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and qualified client - facing Senior Project Manager who will help lead new and existing projects and assist expansion of the G-6 Information Techno logy ( IT ) services plans and policy . The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects which includes oversight of the project execution as well as day-to-day project management for key, strategic projects . The Senior Project Manager will possess extensive experience in Change Management and demonstrated process improvement and implementation experience . Change management is critical as well as ensuring key deadlines are met and top-quality products are delivered to our G overnment customer . The S enior Project Manager will be ultimately responsible for client satisfactio n , project development and implementation, and will w ork in partnership with the Government Sponsor, contractors, managers, and experts as directed and in compliance with USASOC G-6 and U.S. Special Operations Command ( US SOCOM ) processes. JOB DUTIES: Apply Change management principles to ensure the configuration requirements for accreditation of networks and inspections ( i.e. DAIG) are performed and complete Apply k nowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices to provid e support to the Change Manager on the Configuration Advisory Board (CAB) and support the Change Management (CM) processes. Apply b road knowledge of networking hardware, software, and networking concepts and techniques to effectively evaluate current technology, life cycle, and network evolution associated with change management. Prepare change management regulations and procedures and employ production, logistic s , documentation, auditing, and data management techniques to support the C hange M anagement program. Implement u nderstand ing of the change management system, life cycle management concepts, and data automation and telecommunications systems design, maintenance, and standards to improve all processes and projects . Develop and interpret policies, procedures, and strategies governing planning and delivering IT services as described by USASOC G-6 and USSOCOM policy/guidance. Communicate with the Change Management Process Owner concerning all issues related to Change Management including status updates, open issues, opportunities for improvement, metrics, and any issues relevant to the Process Owner. Manage projects as part of the program, within established policies, guidelines, and contractual requirements to include numerous subcontractors . Work with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects . Act as a primary point of contact with government customer . Manag e and lead teams across business lines that are assigned to projects. Successfully develop strategy, mitigation efforts, proposals, contract review, and lead project teams to execute projects. Manag e and lead all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using established processes and tools. Ensur e all projects are delivered on-time , within scope and within budget. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives , involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Develop and monitor a detailed project plan to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely manner. Manage changes to project scope s , schedule s and costs to minimize risk. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalat e to management as needed. Manage the relationship with the government customer and all stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Maintain project documentation control. Delegate project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets , and experience levels. ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE: Flexibly accept assignments supporting various aspects of the G-6 and work independently while seeking guidance as appropriate . Collaborate with colleagues and customers to support all assigned tasks. Assist with the development and review of policy administration documentation as requested . Assist the Government in generating reports analyzing and assessing each department's performance achievements against the standards. Assist the Government in preparing briefings and training documentation on operating procedures and requirements. Create reports and data visualizations to make recommendations to leadership. Monitor project schedule compliance levels, identify gaps, and potential issues. Open issues tracking and follow up with issue owners. Provide planning support for programs including scheduling, and performance monitoring. Gather and analyze information to develop regular program status reports. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE: Five (5)+ years of related experience. Five (5)+ years of Department of Defense experience is preferred. The ideal candidate understands and has a proven track record in driving business fundamentals that include customer leadership, business development, financial oversight, design quality, and project delivery. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products. Excellent communication skills including graphic, verbal and written between project team, clients, vendors, and contractors. PREFERRED SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to manage program budgets and schedule development. Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is preferred. CLEARANCE LEVEL: Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) EDUCATION: Four-year degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
