Job description
Job Number: R Endpoint Security Engineer Key Role: Designs, implements, and manages policies and procedures to ensure database and software security. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Supports multiple Threat Intelligence Platforms to include maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting of issues, configuration of new threat feeds, and exporting and importing threat information into internal platforms. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with systems engineering of information systems 2+ years of experience managing enterprise endpoint security, including McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, McAfee Endpoint Security (ENS), DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS), or DoD Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) Experience with DoD cybersecurity applications Top Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Additional Qualifications: Experience with MS Windows Server OS and MS SQL Server Knowledge of Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) Knowledge of current and emerging security technologies Knowledge of virtual server common architectures and operation Knowledge of Trellix, MDE, Cylance, or ThreatQ Ability to organize and prioritize work based on schedule and impact Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
