Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience ? We're seeking a talented professional to join our team at a respected organization in the transportation sector.

Position: Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities:


  • Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines used in waste hauling vehicles, including garbage trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
  • Repair and replace components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems to ensure reliable performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform repairs as needed to keep vehicles operational.
  • Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules and follow manufacturer guidelines for servicing waste hauling equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and service history.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues in diesel-powered vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
