Position: Machine Operator

Location: Oxford, NC

Pay: $17/hour

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience working in a Machine Operator position
• Significant experience with diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools such as calipers micrometer preferred, but not required

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical degree will be a bonus

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Greene Resources is seeking a Machine Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Prepare machines for production cycles, including calibration, cleaning, and other activities.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Supply raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Inspect parts with precision using appropriate measuring tools.
• Conduct regular tests to ensure proper machine operation.
• Troubleshoot issues during the shift and verify output to identify any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
• Maintain records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Create and maintain activity logs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Position Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of production procedures and good ability to read and implement blueprints schematics and manuals
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength
