Job Description ECU Health About ECU Health Duplin Hospital ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center. Position Summary The Nursing Assistant performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAI listing granted by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services. Minimum Requirements Experience in a comparable facility can only be substituted for NA I course by successful completion of challenge exam acceptable to the NC Department of Health and Human Services is required. Current American Heart Association HeartSaver certification is required.
