Senior Operations Analyst/Combat Developer SME Location: Fort Liberty, NC The Senior Operations Analyst / Combat Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be a full-time member of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Special Missions Unit (SMU) development team performing a range of mission support assignments and planning actions required to material solutions that solve SOF unique problems, across a wide range of technical and kinetic capabilities. Assists in the planning and development of test plans, conducts combat evaluations, and interfaces with Engineers and Developers from industry and Government agencies, attends seminars, and other related strategic and operational issues and topics tasked to the Combat Development Team. Subject matter expertise level experience and understanding of the SMU structure, Command and Control (C2) and mission requirements as well as the integration of the SOF enterprise within Department of Defense (DoD) and the whole of U.S. Government is required. Must be capable of co-planning a variety of advanced strategic and operational perspectives utilizing customer input, military experience, and SOF experience. Will plan and assist in the operational test and evaluation of potential solutions for new or improved capabilities; will support new requirements generation based on emerging threats or lessons learned. Provides assistance in plans and designs to obtain resource data focused on customer objectives and goals. Safeguards classified or sensitive related information and or files. Ensures security procedures and regulations are strictly adhered to in the processing of classified materials. Has continuing and ongoing access to sensitive and classified information on a Local Area Network (LAN). Required Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree, 10 years of SMU experience. Military Education Level 4 (MEL 4). Minimum of five years of experience in plans development. Multiple Joint SOF tours. Ability to maneuver through the USSOCOM staff, COCOMs, Joint Staff, and Interagency. Top Secret-Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility. Preferred Qualifications
