Job description

Responsibilities:

Perform month-end close processes, including preparing and booking journal entries and reconciling accounts

Manage cost accounting activities, including annual cycle counts and product costing

Oversee cash flow and treasury functions, ensuring funds are managed effectively

Prepare and consolidate financial statements, assisting with consolidation activities

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, though not responsible for creating complex GAAP memos

Clean up entries and maintain accurate records within Epicor and Dynamics ERP systems

Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) efforts, assisting with integration and related financial activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with cost accounting principles and experience with product costing

Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Epicor or Dynamics

Experience with financial consolidations and reporting

Exposure to M&A activities is a plus

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
