As a Manager, Reporting, you will join our team on a journey to help eliminate barriers for patients, increase their access to medications, and help them receive lifesaving treatments while working in an environment that nurtures you.
The Reporting and Analytics team is responsible for supporting the Mercalis organization with report setup and maintenance, ad hoc reporting and subject matter expertise in Mercalis' reporting and analytics resources. A major focus of this role is managing the work of a team of data and reporting analysts, deconflict competing priorities and ensure those requesting work have reliable visibility into its status. A key expectation is to identify opportunities for efficiency and scale within the team, department and the broader organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of data and reporting analysts who support client and internal reporting requests
Track work through the request pipeline, deconflict competing priorities and ensure those requesting work have reliable visibility into its status
Develop and monitor reporting on the team workload, backlog and other metrics of productivity and provide regular reporting to upper management
Adhere to team-level service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics as defined by the Reporting and Analytics leadership team
Identify opportunities for standardizing and automating recurring reporting tasks and work with the product owners for the Data Warehouse and MicroStrategy development teams to implement solutions
Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies within the Reporting team, the Reporting and Analytics department or TrialCard as an organization
Be an expert on Mercalis' reporting resources, with an especial emphasis on driving end users to standard resources
Support the Client Services team with training on Mercalis' reporting and analytics resources
Provide the first line of support for end users with questions on Mercalis' reporting and analytics resources
Support ad hoc reporting requests and basic report automation
Manage the administration of MicroStrategy users, sales force alignments and other platform maintenance tasks
Provide leadership, guidance and professional development to data and reporting analysts.
Qualifications:
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, subject matter experts, and clients
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
Highly self-motivated and self-directed
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
Highly organized with ability to multi-task and effectively manage high volume workflow and shifting priorities
Strong leadership skills
Strong customer service orientation
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Two to five years related work experience
Expertise with Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience utilizing Business Intelligence and/or analytics tools
Experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry a plus
MicroStrategy, SQL, and/or ServiceNow background a plus
