Construction Project Manager

Boxman Studios is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team.

Overview

In this role, you will plan construction projects and oversee their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your key responsibilities will include budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

Responsible for estimating all new build opportunities

Responsible for setting up and running all meetings between Franchises, Structural, MEP, Civil Engineering, General Contractor, and Internal Team.

Responsible for all sub-contractor contracts, developing, executing, and maintaining.

Manage the assignment of staffing, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and maintain schedules to meet budget goals.

Foresee possible problem areas and take preventative action to meet critical milestones for each project phase.

Serve as the primary contact with client representatives and subcontractors for construction-related activities.

Maintain strong Client and community relations.

Confirm material take-offs and manage on-site inventory.

Identify and communicate potential changes in order details as required for processing.

Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated.

Track the progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines.

Report the status and variances of each project.

Create action plans to meet each project's objectives, budget, and schedule.

Frequently inspect projects to verify that work in progress is proceeding and/or completed according to company specs and quality workmanship. Proactively identify possible construction delays and communicate with the Client.

Ensure projects maintain job site cleanliness and meet company quality standards.

Confirm that job sites comply with OSHA, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.

Requirements

Proven working experience in construction management

Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, and Procore software.

Understanding all facets of the construction process

Familiarity with construction management software packages

BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
