Job description

Overview:
Responsible for the safety of children in the Health and Fitness Center.

Responsibilities:
Meets basic need of each child while in the nursery.

Engages in safe play activities. Assist in opening and closing of the center.

Responsible for housekeeping duties in the nursery.

Responsible for maintaining reservation book and fee collections.

Qualifications:
Education/Formal Training/Licensure/Certification/Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent. CPR/AED/First Aid certifications required.

Work Experience:

One year pervious childcare experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

The applicant must possess excellent interpersonal and verbal skills. Must be enthusiastic, have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Working Conditions:

Applicants must be willing to work a 20-hour week or more, which may include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Activities include reaching and lifting up to 20 pounds or more, squatting, twisting, and kneeling. Must be able to access entire facility and hear children in case of emergency.
