Job description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our AI and MLOps team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models, ensuring that our AI solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. You will manage a talented team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in our AI offerings.

Job Title: Engineering Manager AI & MLOps

Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid 3 days per week on-site)

Salary Range: $165-$265K annually

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on AI and MLOps, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Oversee the development and implementation of machine learning models and workflows, ensuring they meet quality and operational standards.

Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to prioritize the team's roadmap and align technical initiatives with business goals.

Drive the adoption of best practices in MLOps, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and performance evaluation.

Mentor team members, providing guidance on technical challenges and career development.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in AI and MLOps, integrating new technologies and methodologies into the team's workflow.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in managing engineering teams, particularly in AI, machine learning, and MLOps.

Strong technical background in machine learning algorithms, data pipelines, and cloud technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Strategic thinker with a track record of aligning technical initiatives with business objectives.
