Job description

Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a full time HR Specialist for a client in Raleigh, NC. The HR Specialist will assist in the successful partnership and coordination of Human Resources initiatives throughout the firm. Responsibilities include various aspects of recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, policy interpretation, and other administration duties. This is a full time, direct hire position.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in the HRIS, including compensation, position changes, employment status, and personal details.
  • Process payroll for all pay groups and collaborate with the Accounting department for payroll reporting.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Ensure employment records are current and complete within the document management system.
  • Draft and post job openings on the HRIS recruitment platform and other job boards, as required.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and schedule interviews for qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations and collaborate with other administrative departments for employee training schedules.
  • Audit and process monthly benefit invoices, ensuring timely payment.
  • Manage changes to employee benefits in HRIS and assist with the annual open enrollment process.
  • Provide employees with information and support regarding the firm's benefit plans.
  • Coordinate the employee termination process, including preparation and presentation of relevant payroll and benefit documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working with an HRIS, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • Understanding of employment laws and legal requirements related to human resources.
  • Experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
