Description

In this key position, the Project Manager - Renowned General Contractor - Raleigh will lead critical functions that drive project success and enhance client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing plans, specifications, and client requirements
  • Initiating RFIs to resolve field issues and discrepancies in plans
  • Processing, reviewing, and tracking submittals
  • Assessing design and shop drawings for their impact on cost and schedule
  • Drafting scope of work letters for subcontractors
  • Initiating change orders for the owner and soliciting bids from subcontractors
  • Conducting estimates and preparing cost breakdowns for client review
  • Maintaining logs for procurement, submittals, and RFIs
  • Assisting with scheduling and tracking daily progress
  • Facilitating communication between design and construction teams
  • Leading and mentoring a team of project management professional

Profile

The Senior Project Manager - Renowned General Contractor - Raleigh will be instrumental in driving project success and fostering collaboration across teams, possessing the following qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of project management experience in design-build, preconstruction, hard bid work, light industrial (tilt wall), or a related industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required; PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, along with proficiency in project management software and methodologies, are essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary for managing budgets, timelines, and project scopes efficiently.
