We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead for our Salisbury, North Carolina Plant.

Summary:

Work across plant functions to drive manufacturing excellence by identifying areas for improvement, facilitating improvement events, and executing initiatives to optimize operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas requiring enhancement or restructuring. Utilize data analytics to identify trends and focus areas. Assess integrity of ERP data being used to inform decisions and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing methodologies to optimize workstreams and eliminate wastes; lead and facilitate Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Transforming ideas into actionable change initiatives; ensuring effective communication, training, and support to stakeholders to maximize adoption and success of new processes or systems.
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation:
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, setting clear goals, KPIs, and milestones to track progress and measure success.
  • Utilize metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor the impact of improvement initiatives, providing regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments and teams to facilitate a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and best practices across the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance on new processes, train teammates on lean manufacturing best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Manufacturing, Engineering, related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
