You will be part of a team that designs and implements cloud-native applications, working with cloud-native technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker to build highly scalable applications and microservices. Responsibilities: Design and implementation of microservices
Refactoring legacy and traditional monolithic applications into microservices and containerized architectures
Works as part of a larger Agile software development team to rapidly provide operational capabilities to the field
Elicit, derive, and document software and/or system requirements to meet internal or external customer specifications
Define software/and or system architecture, design software modules, and produce associated documentation per corporate or customer standards
Write and test software modules and integrate with other software and/or hardware components
Remain up to date with the latest related trends and technologies Must-haves: Bachelor's Degree in a related field with typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
5+ years of software development experience , with at least one object oriented language such as but not limited to Java, Python, C#, C++ or Go
Demonstrated implementation of microservices, container, and cloud-native application development
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and/or Openshift and related container platform ecosystems
Experience working with multiple cloud vendors
Experience with managed Kubernetes services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
Demonstrated experience with developer tools such as GitHub and on-prem Azure DevOps
Significant experience with Linux
Strong understanding and experience of release engineering, CI and CD pipelines
Strong Agile experience working in Scrum and/or Kanban models
Proven track record of delivering high quality and consistent systems and environments for development teams
Experience in project definition
Ability to rapidly work with minimal supervision on projects involving both small and large teams
Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Higher certification

Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes
