Job description
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic, located in Tarboro, North Carolina, are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join 32 providers in a practice established in 1928 offering 12 specialties and subspecialties. Tarboro is located 30 miles northwest of Greenville, NC (population 92,000) and 75 miles east of Raleigh, North Carolina. Applicants preferred to have at least 1 year of experience as a provider.
The ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic - Tarboro is a Patient-Centered Medical Home and a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site.

The ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic offers a full range of healthcare services to include: primary & preventative care, immediate care, specialty care, Lab, X-ray, Digital radiology and bone densitometry, IAC accredited ECHO lab, and AASM accredited sleep lab
Specialties and subspecialties include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urology, General Surgery, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Heart Failure management, Pediatrics, Immediate Care and Behavioral Health
Built-in referral network from Immediate Care and other specialties
Practice is supported by 2 health coaches, 2 wellness nurses, a referral coordinator and a behavioral health counselor
System-wide integrated EMR EPIC
Monday Friday schedule (36 patient contact hours/4 hours administrative time)
No nights or call
Clinic location is adjacent to ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital
Joint Commission accreditation of an Ambulatory Surgery Center where endoscopy procedures are performed in an adjacent building behind Multispecialty Clinic
Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
