Job description
Piper Companies is currently searching for a proven CT Technologist to work On-Site for a leading healthcare organization, connecting patients with on-demand care, world-class specialists, and the region's largest primary care network. The CT Technologist will be operating CT Scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency.
Responsibilities of the CT Technologist include:
Perform diagnostic procedures on assigned patients while following departmental protocols and standards.
Operate CT Scanners and associated equipment, including scanner, post-processing stations/programs, IV contrast injectors, O2 and suction equipment, patient transport, and patient monitoring equipment.
Examine requests and verify orders for each assigned patient.
Consult with the Radiologist to clarify orders and address any discrepancies.
Communicate with ordering providers when necessary.
Qualifications for the CT Technologist include:
Proficiency in operating CT Scanners and associated equipment.
Thorough understanding of radiology procedures, techniques, and safety protocols
BLS and CPR Certified, preferred
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT in CT - RT(R)CT required within six months of hire.
Compensation for the CT/MRI Technologist include:
Salary Range: $25-$35/hr. depending on experience
