Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will also consider 36 hrs

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement: 4 Weekend Days in a 6-week time track.

Requirements:

• NC license
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Cardiac GTT exp. MUST be comfortable with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix and heparin.
• BLS
• ACLS

• Unit will Accept 1st time travelers
• Locals Accepted
• Float Requirement: Yes, to other telemetry units
• Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty

JOB DETAILS:Ratios: 1:5-6. 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48hrs, no OT billed until after 48 hours.Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!Shift: 12 HOUR NIGHTS
Float Requirement: Yes, to other telemetry units.Weekend Requirement: 4 Weekend Days in a 6-week time track.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: They may get various types of patients requiring telemetry monitoring including chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator. They work with a heart failure navigator.
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours of orientation
SCRUBS: Not provided - Navy
INTERNAL NOTES Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
