NDSD/Resource Center is looking for a Driver for the school year. Applicant will transport students who are deaf or hard of hearing to and from their hometown areas for the weekend. Job duties and perks include safety of the student passengers while in a State Fleet vehicle, opportunity to learn and practice sign language, and the ability to interact with amazing staff, students and their families. Hiring Salary: $20.25 per hour Status: Part-time temporary non-benefitted Work Shift: 10-20 hours per week, Fridays and Sundays of following the school schedule. Possible weekday travel as needed. Summary of Work Drive a state vehicle providing weekend transportation for North Dakota School for the Deaf/Resource Center students following designated route. Routes are based on where students live, which currently include, Belcourt/Dunseith, Grand Forks, Bismarck, and Williston. Responsible for health, safety, and comfort of students while being transported to and from the school. Travel would originate at the School for the Deaf in Devils Lake.
