Industrial Outside Sales Representative Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Eastern PA area. This position offers the chance to drive sales, foster client relationships, and deliver technical expertise in a growing and supportive environment.

Industrial Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Territory and Customer Management: Create and implement strategic sales plans to expand the client base and boost revenue within the assigned territory. Set clear objectives and forecast sales outcomes.
  • Field Visits and Relationship Building: Travel throughout the region to connect with clients, assess their needs, and ensure the delivery of excellent service and satisfaction.
  • Technical Support: Work closely with customers' technical teams to provide expert advice on product specifications, applications, and installations, offering solutions and education on industrial equipment.
  • Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for addressing issues, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Industrial Outside Sales Representative Position Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-5 years in a similar sales role within an industrial setting, particularly focused on engineering or technical sales related to valves and flow control products.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Dynamics365 for documentation and reporting.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively listen, clarify, and address customer needs.
  • Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and take initiative in growing sales and managing customer relationships.
  • Clean driving record and valid insurance. A credit check is required for this position.
