As a Workflow Implementation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and optimization of workflows that support clinical trial operations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams at VIDA to streamline and automate processes that ensure compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency throughout the lifecycle of clinical trials.
- Collaborate with clinical trial teams to analyze current imaging and data workflows, identif y inefficiencies, and design optimize d processes for study planning, execution, and data management.
- Design, configure, and implement workflow automation solutions tailored to the organization's needs.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful implementation of workflow systems.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA, and ICH guidelines in all workflow processes.
- Train Project Managers, Clinical Engagement, Data Management, and other stakeholders on new workflows and systems, providing comprehensive documentation and support.
- Monitor and evaluate workflow performance post-implementation to ensure continued efficiency and adjust where necessary.
- Liaise with Product team to develop, customize, and integrate new workflows.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to validate workflow functionality and alignment with business needs.
- Continuously stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies in workflow management.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented workflows to ensure long-term success.
- Participate in clinical trial audits and inspections to ensure workflows and documentation meet regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Research , Information Technology, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field AND a minimum of 5 years of experience in imaging workflow implementation, business process management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of workflow design principles, process optimization, and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of clinical research protocols, GCP, FDA, and ICH regulations.
- Experience working with and implementing imaging workflows ( e.g. radiology workflow experience)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and work cross-functionally with different departments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with change management and user training is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Familiarity with database systems and API integrations.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
