We are currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office. What you'll do: The Logistics Analyst will provide logistics expertise for ILS areas of Avionics, Power and Propulsion, and maintenance planning. Responsibilities: Lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) representing multiple Integrated Product Teams/Program Management Offices at Site Activation Task Forces for six United States Active Duty/Air National Guard Air Force Bases
Support all activities required to prepare Service's sustainment readiness for First Aircraft Arrival (FAA) and Initial Operational Capability (IOC) for over one hundred and ten F-35 aircraft valued over fifteen billion dollars
Prepare and execute Site Assessments (SA) and Site Surveys (SS), Site Specific Activation Planning (SSAP), Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) Design Review (DR), Sustainment Readiness Review (SRR) and Initial Operational Capability Suitability Review (IOCSR) events; coordinates/supports the review of annual updates to core site activations documents to include bed-down plans, Integrated Sustainment Plans, Site and Ship Activation Management Plan (SSAMP) and the Facilities Requirements Document (FRD)
Provide analysis, information and advice on findings to the USAF Introduction to Service Lead, Logistics Capability Delivery (LCD) Director, and senior Joint Program Office leadership. Make recommendations to Service and Headquarters personnel on actions required to meet F-35 FAA requirements and to the Site Activation Lead on site status. Oversee acquisition strategy development and execution
Manage contract coverage for the Joint Programs Office and Lockheed Marting/Pratt & Whitney in support of Site Activation activities for US F-35 delivery; aligned support w/Project Summary Master Schedules to ensure no contract driven delays to site activation schedules/timeline
Analyze data to evaluate techniques and trends, developing plans and schedules to adapt to changing F-35 requirements; created timelines for workflow, milestones, and site readiness assessments for FAA based on SS, SSAP, SATAF, DR, and SRR events
Provided recommendations for core site activation documentation updates and ongoing SME input
Collaborate and communicates with all stakeholders to refine strategies to effectively meet FAA. Organize and conduct teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with groups and individual key stakeholders using appropriate software and employing strong verbal and written communication skills
Provide briefings, detailed letters, memoranda, documents, and reports for JPO leadership. Demonstrates knowledge of requirements, capability, and procurement processes. Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
Attend meetings and provide client support onsite/in person when required Qualifications: Experience in acquisition and/or operational logistics support/maintenance engineering
Minimum 10 years relevant experience
Prior DoD acquisition logistics support experience to include specific experience in acquisition planning and management
Demonstrates knowledge of requirements, capability, and procurement processes
Demonstrated ability to perform independent work to provide logistics and support system effectiveness analysis, studies and evaluation in support of DoD weapons systems and equipment
Active DOD SECRET security clearance
Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited in the United States
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
