Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing your expertise in acute care, patient care, and orthopedics to help individuals achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of trigger point therapy, medical terminology, and physiology, with a commitment to providing exceptional care in a clinic environment.

Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to address a range of physical disabilities and conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, to help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and maintain optimal physical function.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote self-management and independence.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately documented and easily accessible.
- Participate in continuous professional development, staying current with the latest research, best practices, and industry standards.

Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the position is located.
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Experience in acute care, patient care, and/or orthopedics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital or clinic environment, as well as in the home community care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and staying current with the latest research and industry developments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $58.81 - $60.68 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
