Job description
The Clinical Therapist at Safely Home provides individual, family, and group therapy for the residential treatment facility. The therapist is a liaison with families, outside agencies, and referral sources. Additionally, the clinical team member is responsible for assessment, design, structure, and implementation of therapeutic services to best meet the needs of clients and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of counseling areas including crisis management and working with youth.

Safely Home has a residential and education services for youth 7-17 years old. We care for youth with emotional and behavioral concerns many times due to neglect, abuse, and various types of trauma. Safely Home's mission is to bring healing and growth to youth and families with histories of behavioral health conditions, abuse, and neglect. Our objective is to help youth and families understand their past, develop life skills, behaviors, and strategies to have successful relationships in their lives.
As a Clinical Therapist at Safely Home, you'll have the opportunity to provide:
Individualized Treatment Plans : Create and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client.
Therapy Sessions : Conduct both group and individual therapy sessions. Our supportive environment fosters healing and growth.
Empathetic Support : Provide compassionate support to youth and their families, helping them improve their well-being and overall quality of life.
Essential Duties:
Provide professional behavioral health treatment, including but not limited to: biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans and reviews, individual counseling, group counseling, family therapy, consultation, aftercare planning, and termination reports.
Collaborate with respective treatment team members regarding treatment planning, progress, and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner.
Responsible for group/team leading and clinical planning of therapeutic groups and individual clients involved in Day Treatment and Group Therapy.
Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients on an assigned and an as needed basis.
Attendance to staffing and/or clinical consultations as necessary for youth and family.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
Provide back up support to other staff members as directed.
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
Licensure: Valid Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT.
Experience working with adolescent populations is strongly preferred.

Pay range of $50,000 - $55,000/year
We currently have annual COLA and performance based wage increases
