Title Mid DevSecOps Engineer Cleared Clearance Requirements Secret or Top Secret Certification Requirements IAT II 8140 Certification Location Beavercreek, OH Description Location: Beavercreek, OH or Remote HumanIT is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support a mission at Beavercreek, OH, or remotely. In this role, you will be supporting and potentially leading a development team through day-to-day operations throughout the complete development cycle. You will be responsible for setting up and managing the development environment, configuring, and maintaining cloud services, and managing CI/CD pipelines for management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) baseline. Candidates will need to have experience working with software development teams, maintaining compliance and security controls, monitoring operations, and improving development processes when needed. You must be highly organized and competent in Agile and DevSecOps principles. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Position Requirements Basic Qualifications: Mid-Level Experience in the Following: Experience with commercial cloud service providers. Experience with private cloud technologies. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines. Experience with containers and container orchestration systems. Experience using scripting languages to automate routine tasks. Experience deploying and maintaining highly available fault-tolerant systems at scale. Experience with agile software development processes. Effective communication skills. Exceptional technical writing skills. Experience with one or more of the following technologies is preferred: Linux (Redhat or Centos preferred) AWS or Azure OpenStack Docker or similar container technology Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, OpenShift or similar container orchestration technology Istio or similar service mesh technology Helm or similar package manager for Kubernetes Terraform, CHEF, Puppet or similar Infrastructure as Code tools Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, Golang or similar scripting languages Prometheus/Grafana or other monitoring toolsDesired Skills: Experience in configuring and maintaining cloud services such as AWS Experience securing microservices or Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) Experience working on DoD development projectsEducation: 5 years' experience with Bachelors in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
