POSITION TITLE: Level III Technician, DC Power
CLASSIFICATION: Non- Exempt
POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Level III DC Power Technician to provide advanced level installations on various DC Power project sites. The DC Power Technician has the technical knowledge, skills and experience to perform installations and removals of non-powered and powered equipment. The ideal candidate will be customer and quality centric, have a complete buy-in to safety, with a strong work ethic, and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides advanced level DC power installations and removals including running and dressing power cables, routing cables, making terminations, etc.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot DC electrical including DC Power plants, rectifiers/converters, PDU's, Inverters, etc.
- Ability to perform basic AC/DC wiring installations
- Effectively troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment failures or breakdowns
- Performs maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules, utilizing appropriate blueprints, diagrams, sketches, national codes and verbal/written instructions
- Can independently perform the addition or removal of non-powered and powered equipment including wiring and connections
- Expert ability to perform battery installations independently
- Full understanding of project scopes and changes; can identify and report change orders to management
- Supports the Construction Management team on customer closeout procedures and documentation
- Ability to read and understand prints; can effectively create work assignments for crews onsite
- Partners with construction management to oversee time, materials, documentation, tools, equipment onsite
- Effective leader and trainer of other crew members; leads by example, ensures all company safety, quality, production, performance and conduct expectations are followed H
- Has professionalism to communicate directly with customers, internal crews, subcontractors and address complaints/issues as they arise
- Safety is the expectation; complete buy-in to the safety culture and expectations by leading by example, teaching others, partnering with safety to present topics, and actively participating in the pre-task, good catch and safety assessment standards within the organization

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbing, etc.
- May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite
- This is a safety sensitive position; when working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed boots.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- 4-6+ years of DC Power installation experience within the telecommunications industry required
- Previous experience within a crew leadership and/or foreman role required
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred (ability to obtain within 30 days of hire required)
- AC Power Certification, Vertiv/GE/Alpha Certified Installer
- Valid driver license with the ability to drive a company vehicle required; must possess a DOT Card
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
