Position: Outside Sales Representative

Classification: Exempt

Primary Responsibility for Outside Sales Representative : Develop and execute sales plans, manage individual sales objectives, forecast, create alternate sales channels, and build support for a results-oriented and customer-focused sales organization.

Key Duties/Accountabilities for Outside Sales Representative:

• Develop strategic business relationships with new and existing customers.

• Coordinate all sales activity for assigned territories.

• Prepare sales plans aligned with company vision and goals.

• Monitor and adjust plans as necessary and report results to management.

• Collaborate with product managers to develop and implement pricing strategies.

• Maintain continuous communication with the manager.

• Engage in revenue-producing activities such as qualifying leads, managing target accounts, and cultivating senior-level relationships with new and existing accounts.

• Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and challenges.

• Assist in developing customer quotations.

• Prepare business presentations for customers.

• Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors, and service providers.

• Document and report customer complaints to the quality department and strive to resolve them immediately.

Measures of Success for Outside Sales Representative :

• Achieve or exceed budgetary sales goals.

• Complete quotes on time.

• Expand into new markets or acquire new customers.

Recommended Position Requirements for Outside Sales Representative:

• Experience in business or sales, with a bachelor's degree in business administration or seven years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in Excel and Word with excellent customer interface skills.

• Strong sales, oral, and written communication skills.

• Ability to translate concepts into actionable ideas.

• Demonstrated management and team skills, essential for collaborative projects within the organization.
