JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Services Specialist will facilitate skills groups and provide care coordination for patients. The Clinical Services Specialist will develop curriculum and facilitate daily skills groups which foster emotional, physical and mental growth of the patients. This role will educate and support nursing staff with understanding, planning and facilitating groups. The Clinical Services Specialist will aid the Bluestone Social Worker with care coordination to include collaboration with outside mental health and educational providers for the purpose of continuity of care and discharge aftercare planning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Provide professional clinical services, including but not limited to:
Development, implementation and management of curriculum
Treatment Planning
Care coordination
Case Management
Aftercare Planning
Crisis intervention
2. Collaborate with other treatment team members regarding treatment planning, progress, and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner.
3. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
4. Provide assistance and back up support to the inpatient social workers, Intake team and other aspects of the inpatient program, as directed.

OTHER DUTIES:
Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client's treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor Degree in Social Work required.
Licensure: Valid Ohio LSW, license required.

Service Orientation: Anticipate, recognize, and meet the needs of others, whether they are clients or not.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions.
Clinical Skill: Demonstrate strong clinical skills with knowledge/experience in the following areas: systemic family therapy, crisis intervention, family education, behavioral interventions.
Fluency in Spanish a plus.
Experience: Culturally competent knowledge of treatment planning, family systems, and group therapy. Experience with children, adolescents, and families. Experience in chemical dependency treatment. Knowledge of children's and family mental health system.
