Job description

LHH is recruiting a Conflicts Processor for a downtown Cleveland Law firm. the Conflicts Processor conducts conflict checks, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct conflict searches using law firm database and other resources to identify potential conflicts of interest.
  • Analyze conflict reports and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys and other personnel regarding conflict findings and resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of conflict checks and related processes.
  • Assist with conflict resolution strategies and mitigation efforts as needed.
  • Stay updated on legal and ethical standards related to conflicts of interest.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Legal Studies, Business Administration) preferred.
  • Prior experience in conflicts processing or a related field within a law firm environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to conflicts of interest.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information.
  • Proficiency in using conflict checking software and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
