Salary and Other Compensation:
The base annual salary for this position is between $ 110- 120,000+ depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Applications will be accepted until 10/21/2024.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. MDM Developer who has ability to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Sql/PLSql and MDM processes. Experience in Financial Services is a plus. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our data solutions ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Develop oracle SQL/PLSQL procedures for reports generation, data maintenance, transaction processing etc.
Write sophisticated sql queries to fetch data to display in UI as per functionality requirement, data stewards requested work queues etc.
Work on performance tuning of sql queries to display the data in UI in short time. This will help improve user experience and user will not have to wait for viewing 360 degree view of customer profile.
Improve and customize master data management (MDM) tool to match and merge multiple profiles of customer data to ensure outstanding master profile across enterprise.
Improve MDM's suspect duplicate processing capability to find same customer profiles from different sources and match and merge into a single unique profile.
Develop and enhance MDMs PME (probabilistic matching engine) to fully use MDM capabilities to generate different types of suspects and match and merge multiple profiles of same customer based on suspect types. This includes auto-merge, send manual merge profiles in data steward work queue etc.
Develop and Enhance Data stewardship User Interface of MDM to facilitate 360 degree data view of customer profile which can help data steward to do the maintenance. It will provide full customer details with account information. There will not be any transactional data maintained. Create work queues and hierarchy structures for data steward who can review and do the required maintenance.
Develop MDM interface with Message Queues (MQ) and Web-Methods and Data Power interface for real time processing of data. This will be required for online banking feature. This will help create and update customer information and account opening process in real time when customer visits the branch and manager works on checking account opening.
Identify benefits and opportunity to upgrade MDM software to new version.
Review IMB releases on MDM software upgrades and version support they provide and work on software upgrades as vital.
Understand requirements, analyze, design, test and modify application software for enhanced functionality and productivity.
Engage with clients for requirement gathering, conceptual design and technical design preparation, Production incidents status reports, work on Change Release and deployment management.
Identify and present opportunities for continuous service improvements and performing level of effort estimates for assigned tasks and change orders.
Maintain code quality through code review and ensure high coding standards get followed in the project.
Transition knowledge to other support team members who join as a new and also to other team members on commonly used tools and utilities.
Work on L3 production support activities which include Incident tickets resolution meeting SLA, production mainframe batch monitoring and error log analysis, real time process maintenance and logs analysis, ensure 24X7 availability of real time environment except maintenance downtime.
Create various data metrics reports which can help analyze data patterns, performance of various mainframe jobs, line of business portfolio etc. Since, MDM is a customer master application; these kinds of reports will give business an exact idea of their portfolios.
