Job description

Location: The MetroHealth System

Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00 or 64.00

Shift: Variable; rotating weekends, rotating holidays

$10,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying RRT experience

Adult Intensive Care Units

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Labor and Delivery

Postpartum Care

_Primary skills utilized/learned:_

Invasive and Non-invasive ventilation management

Evidence-based patient driven protocol pathways

Critical thinking and time management

Multidisciplinary patient care management

_Personnel RRT will work with:_

RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Dieticians

Required Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy

- Possess and maintain an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

- Active Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Medical Board

- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification

- Reliable transportation to travel to other MetroHealth facilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 3 years of experience as a RRT in a critical care environment.

- Extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring

- Possess a Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA

- Possess an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) form the AHA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.70 - $41.30 per hour
