Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic Office & Community Manager to support our Columbus, OH office. This detail-oriented professional has excellent organizational skills along with the ability to maintain flexibility in managing daily responsibilities and capability in handling unexpected challenges. The ideal candidate finds pleasure in improving processes, enhancing efficiencies, and elevating the overall morale of both Kudites (employees) and guests. In addition, this candidate will be the social glue that fosters a positive, harmonious, inclusive, and fun work environment. The candidate should have interest in security, safety, and facility management, and continuously seek improvement by embracing industry best practices, or otherwise novel approaches. Reports to the Director, Human Resources, but also takes tasking from the Director, Security, the Asset Manager, the Facilities Manager (all located in the Chantilly, VA office), and the Kudites at the Columbus office. Responsibilities: Greeting everyone with a positive demeanor, verifying guests' scheduled meetings and identification, assesses the purpose of their visit, and directs them to the correct location. Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for the Columbus office under the direction and oversight of Human Resources. Protects Kudu and Kudites by keeping information confidential and protecting personally identifiable information. Plans and facilitates social events, leveraging Kudites' interest by conducting surveys within the office to encourage input for these events and more broadly in shaping the work environment and community. Creates opportunities for efficiencies and effectiveness within the space, and ensures the smooth operation of our offices. Coordinates all facility improvements and repairs. Assists the Facilities Manager with cleared space construction, and security with managing the cleared spaces. Maintains and has authority over site budget, manages inventory, keeps supplies and refrigerators stocked. Prepares packages for shipment, pickup and courier services for prompt delivery (including computer assets and other valuables). Responsible for management and receiving of supplies, goods and services. Works with the Asset Manager in conducting the asset management at the office, including tracking inventory of things in/out/shipped. Distributes team-wide announcements, books conference rooms and coordinates catering as needed. Front line defense to ensure printers and other office-wide technologies work as intended, and coordinates with IT (in Chantilly, VA office) as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications: Must work from the Columbus, OH office during core business hours. Degree or equivalent experience in office management, executive assistance, or related administrative fields equivalency. Experience in developing internal systems and streamlining processes and leveraging software and automation where possible. Advanced technology skills and experience with online platforms (Slack and Google Suite, specifically), and aptitude for working with new systems/software. Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of creativity and flexibility, and excellent organizational and multitasking ability. Positive attitude and ability to handle challenging demands.
