Director of Residential Services Job Description

The Director of Residential Services will serve as the administrative and clinical supervisor of assigned programs and/or service line(s). The Director will manage the overall output and services of the clinical staff. Ensure clinical quality of services offered in the program(s) and that the corresponding documentation and processes are in- line with Maryhaven clinical policies and standards. Develop an office/program culture consistent with Maryhaven's values, vision, and mission. Serve as the public face of the organization when representing the program(s), developing relationships with funders and partners, further establishes Maryhaven as a resource to clients. Assist in special projects, licensing activities, accreditation processes, grant reporting, and regulatory compliance reviews as needed. This role will require some weekend and evening availability and on-call coverage. This role requires an independent licensure (LPCC, LISW, IMFT, LPCC-S, LISW-S).

Director of Residential Services Requirements

  • Masters Degree in human services or behavioral science with at least two (2) years experience in the field of chemical dependency treatment.
  • Independently licensed, LPCC, LISW, IMFT, LPCC-S, or LISW-S
  • Supervisory experience of at least three (3) years.
  • Experience in the direct provision or management of behavioral healthcare or clinical programming.
  • Prior administrative experience demonstrated through skills in data analysis, healthcare administration, or at human services organization.
