Help Desk Specialist
Onsite, Columbus, Ohio


We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Help Desk Specialist to join our IT support team. The Help Desk Specialist will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to our employees and resolving a wide range of IT issues.



Responsibilities:

  • As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and problems.
  • The Help Desk Specialist will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Our ideal Help Desk Specialist will maintain detailed records of all support requests and their resolutions.
  • The Help Desk Specialist will escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when necessary.
  • As a Help Desk Specialist, you will assist in the setup and configuration of new computer systems and software.
  • The Help Desk Specialist will contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge bases.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Help Desk Specialist or similar IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, common software applications, and basic networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
