As a Staff Accountant at Building Composites, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, experience with journal entries, purchase orders, accounts payable, invoicing, and procurement, and a flexible approach to work. A keen attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial processes. Performing various production tasks. Your Role: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations. Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments and accurate documentation. Manage invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Assist in the procurement process, including purchase order creation and tracking. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities. Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with audits as needed. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. What Were Looking For: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and compliance. Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field. Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. Strong understanding of journal entries, accounts payable, invoicing, and procurement processes. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
