Opening: Facility Security Specialist Dayton, OH - Full Time - Posted September 25, 2024 Summary CREEK TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a full time, on-site Facility Security Specialist, in support of the AFRL-RX support contract, located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and perform the following responsibilities. The Activity-Program Security Representative's primary function is to assist GSSO's in providing for the protection and safeguarding SAP and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities in the following areas: Program security management, Personnel Security, Information Security, Document control, Physical Security, Security Education and Training, and Operations Security (OPSEC). Responsibilities
• Assist GSSO in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral data in support of US military operations. Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities
• Provide day-to-day security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems to the GSSO • Prepare, process, and / or review Program Access Request (PARs) for accuracy and access eligibility. Conduct DISS and SAPNP reviews of candidates being submitted for SAP access. Perform data entry and record checks in the JADE and maintains all customer sponsored personnel access information current Perform security indoctrinations. Accurately maintain JADE records in the database to include foreign contact/travel information and program accesses. Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions
• Assist GSSO in all aspects of physical security for classified facilities to include entry control, assist in the preparation of facility access control badges, assist in the maintenance of facility access control entry systems, to include visitor control meeting rosters, issue visitor badges, alarm checks, guard force response, and alarm system entry, maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control, escort facility visitors and maintains associated logs, conduct entry/exit checks to ensure prohibited devices are not introduced into the facilities and classified materials improperly removed. Identify and report deficiencies to ensure facility infrastructure/integrity is properly maintained. Assist in maintaining secure facilities and respond to alarms of the government facilities in accordance with Air Force requirements and directorate OIs
• Assist GSSO with Top Secret Control for accountable material and associated correspondence, classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence, perform destruction of classified materials, reproduction support for classified materials, assist with receiving classified materials and securing as appropriate, control all incoming and outgoing magnetic media
• Assist with executing the annual special security self-inspection program; developing and updating required internal security processes and standard operating instructions relative to security and to ensure they are executed throughout the Directorate programs. Provide support for the security awareness and education programs
• Perform other duties as directed by the GSSO Qualifications
• Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance, current within five (5) years, based upon a T5 or T5R investigation (formerly known as Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or SSBI Periodic Review (SBPR).
• Must be indoctrinated to NATO Secret. SCI, SAP information.
• Must have access to the following networks JWIICS, SAP to include JADE.
• Must complete the DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training (if performing personnel security functions) Security Clearance.
• Will be required to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph. Education Associates degree Experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred. Clearance Top Secret Security Clearance Salary Range Commensurate with education and experience Anticipated Start Date As soon as possible
