Epsilon C5I (), a division of Epsilon Systems Solutions, is a 100 percent employee-owned company founded in 1998 with more than 20 locations serving the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, non-profit and commercial customers. The Dayton division has recently been named as one of only five prime awardees for the 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio. The Dayton division is currently searching for a Space ISR SME. This technical expert will provide guidance and expertise in collection planning, analysis, analytical tool development, and system development in accordance with standards such as ICD 203 and 801 standards. You will assist with developing and implementing analytic methodologies. Additionally, this role will support Epsilon C5I business development activities in Space & ISR areas of interest. This individual will report to the Chief GEOINT Scientist. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform analysis on space domain awareness (SDA) data to detect, characterize, attribute, and predict activities in the space domain to inform decision-making.
Provide subject matter expertise on interpretation of SDA data and objects of interest.
Perform research & development of analysis concepts, methods, algorithms, and/or TTPs to improve SSA/SDA analysis.
Provide subject matter expertise to solve technical issues and resolve anomalies.
Analyze algorithm deficiencies and identify possible mitigation procedures and/or replacement algorithms.
Provide support to business development, pursuit, and capture related to SDA.
Lead analysis projects and analytical/developmental teams.
Perform program/project management activities.
Possible Offensive/Defensive Space Control modeling and simulation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data science, engineering, physical sciences, or related field or 7 or more years of relevant experience.
10 or more years of experience in intelligence analysis, and the TCPED Process with at least 5 years of focused space analysis experience.
Applicant Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI access with ability to attain polygraph to be considered for this position.
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
In-depth knowledge of commercial, military, and adversarial space operations and norms of behavior.
Experience in the tasking/collection/planning/exploitation/dissemination process with at least one of the following: GEOINT, MASINT, SIGINT, or Future Threats analysis
Experience across multiple areas highly desired.
Knowledge of Space Situational/Domain Awareness (SSA/SDA) systems, data types, tools, and organizations.
3 or more years' experience with project and team management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate and adapt to complex technical challenges.
Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Possess effective communication and be able to collaborate with Customers, and cross-functional teams, document technical processes, and present solutions to stakeholders.
Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in data science, engineering, physical sciences, or related field or related field and 10 or more years of prior relevant experience.
10 or more years in space analysis roles.
5 or more years' experience with project and team management.
Completion of National Security Space Institute (NSSI) coursework.
Experience in federal or commercial space operations and/or acquisitions.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Proficiency/certification with tools such as STK and ODTK, or equivalent.
Demonstrated advanced ISR phenomenology knowledge, skills, and abilities (radar, SAR, electro optical, MASINT, etc).
PMP or DAWIA certification(s).
Experience conducting Offensive/Defensive Space Control analyses.
Demonstrated ability to drive technological innovation within an organization.
Familiarity with AI/ML models to process and analyze large datasets.
Knowledge of modeling and analysis using mathematical/quantitative methods.
Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience. ADA Notations: Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
Noise conditions range from very quiet to noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
