Job Description: Route Accounting Specialist

Economy Linen, the region's premier linen provider to both the healthcare and hospitality industry is looking to add to their Route Accounting Team! We are a growing business with advancement opportunity!

Primary Function

To maintain the accuracy and integrity of the customer database, customer contracts, and customer account receivable balances.

Responsibilities

• Contract administration create customers, enter new contracts and update renewals
• Maintain status of customers active, terminated, or on hold
• Update route accounting daily sales invoices
• Create route accounting delivery tickets
• Report daily sales to management
• Apply and reconcile daily route deposits
• Process account billing changes and special deliveries
• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks and credit cards
• Process customer statements monthly
• Post payments and print statements

Other Assigned Tasks

• Review Accounts Receivable Aging Report
• Backup for customer service
• Backup for front desk
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Organizational skills
• Data entry skills
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

Education

High School Diploma required.

• 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
