Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented TDL Manager to join our team in Huntsville, AL and Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The TDL Manager manages the cost, schedule, and performance of medium- to high-complexity Technical Direction Letter (TDL) projects to develop and deliver digital transformation, modernization, and modifications. Provide recommendations, status briefings, and other formal and informal feedback to management on all project aspects. Plan, organize, and coordinate activities with Functional Specialists, including contracting, engineering, program control, configuration and data management, test, and logistics operations support. Develop, execute, and monitor risk management strategies to address areas of concern or potential gaps, and apply systems engineering principles, techniques, services, and practices for a disciplined approach to meeting LOGIX TDL projects. Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical technical data for inclusion in TDL planning to support Mission Essential Service Planning (MESP) requirements, establishing processes for accessing, updating, and distributing technical direction as required by the MESP. Support system planning and market analysis and provide technical subject matter expertise on engineering documents in the Program, Project, and Systems Engineering Management Plans. This includes reviewing documents, conducting assessments, and providing briefings. They support program-level review boards, including Engineering, Configuration, Risk, and Test Review Boards. Give project status reviews and presentations to accountable sponsors and project governance meetings. Provide technical risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and options to improve program integration. Report to the Regional Site Manager, monitor project work quality, and supervise and mentor subordinates. Required Qualifications: 9+ years of relevant work experience Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. C andidate holding a relevant master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. Candidate holding a relevant PhD may be granted 4 years' experience credit. High school diploma and 13 years of work experience in lieu of degree will also be considered. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification Desired Qualifications: 5 years of position-specific relevant experience Security Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility Physical Requirements : Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
